CONTEXT
A downloadable game
"You don't know who you are, you don't know who you work for, and you don't know who your targets are, but you're going to have to provide the information you've gathered about them over the last few days.
Without any context, who are you going to trust? Are you going to deliver the lives of your targets to your employers without knowing their intentions? Do they even exist?
It's up to you to decide what information will be shared, and whether the lives of your targets will be saved."
Context is a short, multiple-choice narrative game where you must choose your words carefully to decide the fate of the targets you have been ordered to spy on.
The game was created in four days using Twine for the RNK Narrative Jam, with the theme: Keep an eye.
I hope you enjoy it!

When writing this story, I wanted to ensure that there were several ways to interpret it.
- One way to interpret this story is that you play an observation agent reporting to a mysterious organization. You don't know if the organization is legitimate or not, if it's for a good cause, if the targets are really dangerous or if they just bother certain people of power. That's usually how you see this story the first time around.
- But if you pay a little attention to the characters' names and certain passages, you can see another interpretation: you play an eye transmitting information to the occipital cortex and the brain. Our host is a lonely man who lives as a recluse in his home. His life and his loneliness seem to have plunged him into deep distress, creating paranoia and making him fear his neighbors (the Boyd). He keeps an eye on them to find out what's going on, his eyes observe, and he tries to figure out what he sees to determine whether Julian and his family are really who they claim to be or if they're plotting against him.
These are certainly not the only interpretations, and there is no correct one, the lack of context allows you to see the story you want.
